In 2019, Huawei, a Chinese multinational corporation and technology company, approached me with the question whether I wanted to take a series of animal photos with their – then brand new – smartphone P30 Pro. The fact that I had to travel through Costa Rica for two weeks, looking for coatis, sloths, capuchin monkeys, I didn’t mind at all! In fact, after I had successfully completed this assignment, I went back again in 2019 to photograph these beautiful animals with a camera instead of a smartphone.
