Sang-froid amphibians
I think…what fascinates me the most about both amphibians and reptiles is their tranquiity…their…sang-froid, which literally means cold-headed. And I’m sure their cold-bloodedness must have everything to do with this. They can’t afford to fuss about anything, since it requires a lot of warmth to do so. And therefore…they usually just sit and save energy.
And when that tasty fly flies by, they strike.
Playing dead
Whether they were cheek blowing green frogs and mating blue moor frogs and no matter what they did, swimming, mating or even playing dead, they always did it in a very relaxed way. So once again it confirmed in my assumption that amphibians and reptiles are just extremely …..cool!
