1. If it Walks Like a Goose And it Talks Like a Goose….
As soon as this Army of Cuteness arrives, the most fanatical birder goes “awwwwwwww”.
Bold loitering spontaneously share their sandwiches, a homeless worriedly counts whether they are as many as yesterday.
2. Interview by Bored Panda
“Talented Dutch nature photographer Roeselien Raimond has taken countless stunning photos of beautiful creatures and wildlife, but her photos of wild foxes are especially wonderful. She agreed to give Bored Panda an interview and talk about her work photographing these cunning and beautiful creatures.”
3. Mr. Pink: The Pink Grasshopper
Not so long ago, one of my photo-pals found a pink grasshopper.
I have to admit: his special find made me a little bit jealous. 😉
After all it is just about the closest thing to a pink elephant!
At the same time, I realised how rare such a phenomenon actually is and how pointless to go out and look for one.
The chance of winning the lottery is greater.
So we started our Pink-Grasshopper-Mission
4. Ducklings All Ditches United
Baby ducklings accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 0.01 second and are able to make a 180 degree turn, without any notice.
Which is a little too much, even for my fairly sophisticated autofocus system.
5. Chasing White Rabbits
“Why is a rabbit white, in a country where it rarely snows?”
“Do white rabbits feed on radish instead of roots?”
“Is this a product of a dissolute mother rabbit and a fling with an outer-dune father …?”
“..or maybe a sort of freak of nature, similar to–let’s say- a pink grasshopper?”
7. New logo. new corporate identity, new website and a shop added
I spend a lot of time creating an new and fresh look and functionality is improved a lot as well.
Plus: I added a shop wheer a lot of my photos can be sold.
8. Writing for Huffington Post
This summer, I was approached by Huffingpost; They appreciated my writings and asked me if I’d like to write some articles for their site.
And I said yes, happily surprised that -apparently my Denglish (Dutch-English) is comprehensible 😉
9. The Night Heron or Backpack Quack (untranslatable Dutch pun*)
Just when I started to wonder if this bird might be not only dumb, but also blind, deaf and autistic at the same time,
he suddenly poked his beak through the completely duck-weeded water: spot on!
How did he do that?
10.Squirting, Spinning, Spitting and Swallowing Spiders
“How does a spider bridge the distance between two trees?”
“Would he actually spit?”
“Or would he just jump from tree to tree, like a professional Spiderman?”
“Google…?”
11.Zen Fox chosen as one of Top 10 Best of 2014 Animal Photos @ 500px.
Yay 😉
12. Article/ Interview about Foxes in the Snow @ Bored Panda
While the whole world is being absorbed in blankness and the sound of my shutter is muffled by the steadily falling snow, a red fox suddenly appears on stage.
She embellishes my white canvas so perfectly. Never had I been happier with a little touch of red in my colour palette
